Light up the night

Jamie got some new shoes this weekend – these are his favorite and if he needed any other motive to stay in constant motion, light up monster truck shoes definitely do the trick. So the other evening I showed him how to stand sideways on the swingset glider and shift your weight back and forth to make it swing. After dinner when it’s almost dark he’s outside, I’m in the kitchen noodling around on the computer, and I look at to see him swinging wildly back and forth, stomping his feet so his shoes were flashing, singing at the top of his lungs. It was awesome.
