Percy, fully loaded

So, I was talking to Henry’s dad at a birthday party last weekend about not being ready for the transition to “big boy” toys – transformers and super heroes and the like. Jamie’s class at school is really into super heroes and he hasn’t shown much interest. He has a pair of spider man pjs that he begged for, but spidey’s face – particulary the eyes – freak him out. But so and so has a transformer and he really wanted one so I did get him a small one for Christmas. And Spidey on a motorcycle. Anyway, Henry’s dad agreed and said he intended to keep Henry in blocks for as long as possible.

Well, meet Lego Percy.

Why Percy, what a big, um, tower you have on top of you!

Wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley

That’s not a tower. Those are my guns and blasters for killing bad guys.

Percy outfitted with guns and blasters

Dead. Wait ’til Thomas won’t shut his yap again. He won’t know what hit him.

What else would I expect from my train-obsessed son. Super Percy.

At least he’s creative. 🙂 I showed the image to the boy to see if he could guess what they were but he was thinking too technical. Legos are awesome. I miss building stuff with my brother. Maybe I should get him legos for Christmas…hmm.

Well L is 6 and we still have no super heroes or shoot um and bang um up toys. I just say, that mommy and daddy don’t like shooting toys. He frowns and walks away. It certainly doesn’t stop the boys imaginations with making every toy they have a shoot um up bang um up toy…..ugh.
