Food eaten, uneaten

What we made for dinner last night:

  • Lemon butter fish
  • Sweet potato home fries
  • Green beans – french cut and cooked to death just the way his majesty likes them

What Jamie ate for dinner last night:

  • Yogurt
  • Half an onion sandwich bun, toasted, with butter

The toddler, he is officially a picky eater. So much for the days I worried about turning him orange due to his love of sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash. Hey, at least the yogurt was organic. And to save $$ and sugar, I mix it with plain, whole milk yogurt, also from Stoneyfield.

As for me, I weighed myself this morning, and despite the bad week last week, I’ve lost another 2 lbs. For a total loss of 8 lbs!

I hear ya. The Gavinator is starting to stretch his picky-eating wings. Last night he had a single linguini noodle (wasn’t even Barilla….. DRINK) and 1/8th of a broccoli spear.

BTW, love the new blog look.

    Woo-hoo! 8 pounds!

The thing that’s been bugging me for the past 2 1/2 years is how one night he’ll inhale something and then the next he hates it and won’t even take one bite. But apparently this isn’t unusual because my mother still asks me “Do you brocooli again yet, or do you still hate it? I can never keep track” whenever I’m at her house and she’s mealplanning.

Yeah — 8lbs! Blog looks great! Yes — we also prepare the baby buffet and about 60% of the time, end up with yogurt and — gulp — a biter biscuit.

Hey at least he ate *something.* Max can last an entire weekend on one bite of spinach nugget and cat hair.

    Congrats on the 8 lbs!
